Srinagar, 31 jul : District Bar Association Anantnag on Tuesday took out a protest march from the district court premises up to Lal Chowk in this south Kashmir district to voice support for Article 35-A.
The protest march was led by president Bar Association Anantnag Fayaz Sadogar along with general secretary Sheikh Irfan Gulzar.
Scores of lawyers were holding placards and banners in their hands.
The protesting lawyers said that any move to fiddle with Article 35- A will be met with resistance and will have dire consequences.
“We also appeal to all regions of the state to come and join hands against sinister designs against the scrapping of the special status enjoyed by our state,” bar president Fayaz Sadogar said.
