Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Joint Coordination Committee of private Schools Association, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Youth Federation and chamber of commerce and industries Kashmir Saturday held protest demonstrations here in press enclave against the attempts to revoke Article 35A, which grants special rights and privileges to permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

The pro-35 A protests are continuing in all over the state and protesters are warning of dire consequences if the article was even touched.

In Bandipora National conference organised a protest march against tinkering of Article 35.

The protest rally was led by senior NC leader and former legislature Bandipora, Ghulam Rasool Naaz.

Earlier, Tourism Trade Federation held a protest march against tinkering of Article 35 A in Srinagar.

The protesters marched from Jehlum view Park to Press enclave, holding placards and banners which read, “Interference in Article 35A unacceptable”, “dismiss the petition”, etc.
