 ‘Syed Naveed was guarding FCI godown in Budgam’

Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen Sunday said that the policeman who decamped with four rifles while on duty has joined the outfit in Kashmir.

HM spokesman, Burhan-u-Din, told KNS in a telephonic statement, that the policeman, Syed Naveed has “joined Hizb along with the four rifles”.

“Our field operational commander, Mehmood Ghaznavi, has welcomed Syed Naveed for joining the militant organization to fight Indian occupational forces in Kashmir,” the spokesman said.

Police on Saturday said that Syed Naveed Mushtaq of Nazneenpora, Shopian, decamped with four SLR rifles from the guard duty room where he was posted to guard an FCI godown in Nasrullahpora, Budgam.
