Srinagar: A loud bang created panic on national highway at Lasjan near Peaks Auto on Saturday afternoon.
An eyewitness informed Local Media, “It was a grenade attack on CRPF near new higway. It exploded near a CRPF personnel deployed for duty.” But there was no injury reported from the spot.
He also informed, “The whole area has been cordoned after the pin of grenade was found on the road.”
But the local police have denied that it was a grenade attack. “It was a fire cracker.”
However sources claimed that it was a grenade as the pin was lying on the road. Nobody got injured. (Agencies)
