Srinagar: Unidentified gunmen on Saturday killed Islamic University Student at Naseem Bagh in Hazratbal area of Srinagar city.
Sources said that the slain was identified as Ishfaq Ahmad. He was a second-semester student of Islamic University, as revealed by the ID card that was recovered from his pocket, locals said.
Although, no police could be reached to confirm the incident, however, locals said that a posse of police has reached the spot and cordoned the area to nab the assailants.
