Srinagar 22 Sep:  The district administration of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday decided to close all the government and private educational institutions including Degree Colleges and Schools in the district on September 22, following the gunfight in Sumlar forests of the district.

The orders according to reports have been issued from the office of the District Development Commissioner Bandipora, in wake of the killing of five militants in a gunfight with government forces in the district.

The gunfight began on Thursday afternoon after Army’s 14 RR, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF cordoned off the area and ended up with the killing of five militants on Friday late evening.
