Srinagar 25 Sep: The nursing students of Sher-e- Kashmir Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS), Soura on Tuesday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding release of their classmate Muhammad Iqbal Rather, who was arrested by police on Srinagar-Jammu highway recently.
Scores of protesters from Sher-e- Kashmir Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS), Soura assembled here in Press enclave and staged a demonstration seeking release of their arrested classmate. Shouting slogans, the protesters alleged that Iqbal was arrested on fabricated charges.
The protesters sought intervention of Governor Satya Pal Malik to seek Iqbal’s release.
