A shopkeeper Hilal Ahmad Dhobi s/o Ghulam Mohudin Dhobi of Hamdania Bazar Tral was slapped with PSA on Monday and was sent to Jammu jail.

 A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral township of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to protest slapping Public Safety Act (PSA) on a local shopkeeper.
A shopkeeper Hilal Ahmad Dhobi s/o Ghulam Mohudin Dhobi of Hamdania Bazar Tral was slapped with PSA on Monday and was sent to Jammu jail.

As a mark of protest, shops and business establishments in Tral remained closed while as skeletal movement of transport is visible on roads.

Traders fraternity in Tral has appealed to the government to release Hilal, who as per family and traders fraternity is ‘innocent’.
