PULWAMA: A chemist was injured after an explosive device which he tried to throw out of his shop exploded in his hand in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

Reports said that minor stone-pelting protests erupted in Pulwama town early today following which security forces fired shells, with one of them landing inside the shop of a chemist, Ghulam Mohiudin Sheikh.

Reports said that the chemist while trying to throw the shell out of his shop but exploded in his hand leaving him injured. He was rushed to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment.
