Pulwama 2 Nov: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected and later defused by government forces in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday afternoon.

A Police official said that a joint patrolling party of army, Police and paramilitary CRPF detected an IED at Nikas village along Pulwama -Shopian highway.

“The 5 kilogram IED was planted in a water supply line,” the police official said, adding the IED was later defused by bomb disposal squad of police.
