DODA: District Red Cross Society Doda organised a seminar under the guidance of District Development Commissioner Bhupinder Kumar here at Government ANMT School which was attended by large number of students as well as public from different walks of life.
Dr. Wajid Ali Najar, Chief Medical Officer Doda (Treasurer DRCS Doda) was the chief guest on the occasion. He urged the youth to come forward and donate blood to save the precious lives. He also said that the day is celebrated to highlight the need of blood transfusion and blood products transfusion to the needy persons. He said that the campaign saves many lives annually and gives a smile to the blood receivers.
Among others who attended the programme were Dr. M.A Tariq Medical Superintendent District Hospital Doda, Dr. Rakesh kumar Bhagat District Tuberculosis officer Doda and Dr. Zia Shokat Mughal Programme Officer National Mental Health programme Doda.
