Srinagar: A Tral resident who was critically injured in an attack by unknown gunmen has succumbed at SMHS hospital in Srinagar.

An official at the facility told Greater Kashmir that Simranjeet Singh son of Nanak Singh of Khasipora village died at the SMHS hospital.

Singh was critically injured after unknown gunmen fired at him at his native Khasipora village of Tral earlier in the day.

He was rushed to a local hospital where from he was shifted to SMHS hospital
