SRINAGAR: Chairman of moderate Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq was again put under house arrest today to prevent him from leading protest against civilian killings in alleged security force firing in the Valley.
A spokesman for the HC said paramilitary forces and state police personnel had been deployed outside the Nigeen house of Mirwaiz who was later informed that he has been put under house arrest. (UNI)
