Anantnag, Jan 10 : Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor from him in south Kashmir on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
He said on a tip-off, police established a naka at Sangam in Anantnag.
During checking, police arrested a bootlegger and recovered about two dozen bottles of illicit liquor.
He said a case has been registered and investigation taken up.
