Srinagar, Feb 1 : A paramilitary trooper was injured after suspected militants lobbed a grenade on CRPF party at Namtahal area of Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday evening.

Official sources told GNS that some militants hurled a grenade on the forces party resulting in injuries to a CRPF man of 43 Battalion.

The injured was taken to nearby hospital for treatment they said.

SP Budgam Amod Nagpure also confirmed the attack and said that one CRPF man suffered minor splinter injuries.

Following the incident government forces launched a hunt to nab the assailants. (GNS)
