Jammu, Feb 2 Jammu Police on Friday evening rescued four persons trapped in River Chenab when the water level suddenly swelled in Pargwal area of Akhnoor here on city outskirts.
“Four persons were rescued from river Chenab when a tractor along with trolley suddenly came under the swelled water level in the river, which went upto driver’s seat,” police spokesman here said.
He said that a SOS call was made to police and a team from Police Post Pargwal was activated and a swift rescue operation was launched
