Srinagar: Four students and one teacher from Army Goodwill School, Harka Bahadur (Kargil) visited the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday. The team received the invitation after winning a national level competition called “Design for Change : I Can” at Ahmedabad last month, where their project ‘Used Bottle Fence’ stood first amongst entries received from all over India. The prize included a trophy and incentive of Rs 50,000.

During their visit to the Rashtrapati Bhawan the students got an opportunity to showcase their project. This was followed by a guided tour of the historical Rashtrapati Bhawan as well as an opportunity to witness the impressive ‘Change of Guard’ ceremony. The visit was an unique experience for the students from Kargil and was much appreciated by them.
