JAMMU: A driver saved the lives of over 40 passengers minutes before he died of cardiac arrest in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Following uneasiness due to chest discomfort, the driver of a bus on way to Kalaban from Mendhar deliberately dashed the vehicle against a rock near Chuggan,” police here today said.
“Had he not acted swiftly, the vehicle could have plunged into a 300-feet deep gorge,” police added.
He was rushed to the hospital but declared as brought dead, police said. (UNI)
