Ganderbal: In a good move of Sonamarg Development Authority where the department demolish illegal strictures especially around main Sonamarg Market which would be found in violation of rules.
As per the reports available with Kashmir Age, the authorities Tuesday launched a massive operation against violators and demolished illegal structures at Sonamarg following reports of violation of court order in this central Kashmirs Ganderbal district.
The Sonamarg Development Authority officials led by its field squad (Casual labours) on the directions of Chief Executive 0fficer, Qazi Sarwar appeared in Sonamarg market and razed the unauthorized structures to ground.
The demolition squad of SDA, headed by senior officer of the Enforcement wing and accompanied by other field squad, started the anti-encroachment drive at Sonamarg market and demolishing illegal structures. The encroachments removed from main marker were not only causing congestion in the area, but also hampered smooth traffic movement, SDA officials said.
