Will look into the matter: DC Kupwara

Kupwara, Mar 05 : Government forces have allegedly closed the main motorable route to Lolab valley after Pulwama attack on February 14 this year.
Residents of Lolab told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that since February 14, the government forces of Zangli garrison in Kupwara have closed the main road to Waadi-e-Lolab for vehicular traffic, a day after the Pulwama attack took place that left over three dozen CRPF men dead and many others wounded.
“We are being forced to take alternate bypass road and unfortunately is in dilapidated conditions,” the residents told KNS.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that he will look into the matter and will take up the matter with R&B department for macadamization, other necessary things of Lolab bypass road.
He added that he will take up matter with forces as well.
However, the residents said bypass road is not safe for travel as the road is too narrow and prone to accidents. (KNS)
