Srinagar, Feb 17, : Three houseboats were gutted in a fire at the Dal lake here in Srinagar city on Monday, officials said.
The fire broke out at one of the boats during morning hours and immediately spread to other two house boats and some tin sheds, officials said adding that the incident occurred at Kohna Khan Dalgate.
A House boat was completely gutted in the incident, while two other suffered partial damages. There was no loss of life or injury and no tourist was staying inside the houseboats, the officials told KNT.
