SOPORE: Police in sopore town claimed that they have arrested a drug peddler in town on thursday “as part of their drive against narcotics trafficking.
Police officilas told that the drug peddler Iqbal Amed Tantray son of Bashir Ahmed Tantray resident of Drussu area was arrested.
after receiving a specific information that he was carrying 59 bottles of Maxcoff Codeine phosphate and was arrested at Marazigund by police party of Dangiwacha station headed by Parwaiz Ahmad.
Meanwhile a case with FIR No. 28/2017 has been registered in Police Station Dangiwacha under section 8/22 NDPS against him.
