Pattan;As the govt had recently announced the free to home ration distribution to all the houeholds, the Public Distribution deptt arranged the distribution through their deptt employees but confined at the Ration centres only.
While speaking to some of the employees, they said that there are no such orders for them to distribute the ration door-to-door. They said that they have been asked to distrubute the ration at Ration centers only.
However for moving village to village these personnel needed the curfew passes which accordingly were provided to them by the concerned SDM and Tehsil offices.
‘’On showing such passes to security forces, they do not allow us to move on such such passes and ask for passes with stamp from the D.C office’’, said one of the officers at Pattan.
As per the officer , the distribution is halted at some places and now they request the administration to look into it immediately so that the ration distribution orders are followed smoothly.
