Srinagar, April 4: The 10 year old boy who was tested positive for the Covid-19 infection a couple of days ago is stable and recovering at a good pace, doctors at SKIMS Soura said.

This 10 year old boy from Rathpora Eidgah had been tested positive after he came into contact with a Tableegi Jamat member in a local mosque.

A doctor wishing not to be name said that the boy is recovering and is stable. โ€œSoon we are going to collect his samples and hopefully he will turn negative,โ€ he said adding that the boy is in isolation and doing very fine.

Munir Ahmed, the father of the boy told KNT that he was informed by the doctors that his son is stable and recovering. โ€œIt is good news for me but at the same time it pains me that I canโ€™t see my little son who is in isolation,โ€ he said.

Rathpora locality of Eidgah witnessed another positive case yesterday and the man who was tested positive for Covid-19 is affiliated with Tableegi Jamat and currently he is undergoing treatment at SKIMS Soura.

The Dispensary at Wanganpora Eidgah, where the said patient had gone for check-up was sanitized and sterilized while the staff of the Dispensary has been quarantined. โ€œNot only has the family of the patient, but the Para-medic staff also been quarantined,โ€ said an official.

In Eidgah locality, three patients have been tested positive for Covid-19 infection so for. (KNT)
