SRINAGAR: All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) today hailed the decision of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to introduce Punjabi language as a compulsory subject in the higher classes in Jammu and Kashmir.

Thanking Ms Mehbooba and Education Minister Syed Mohammad Atlaf Bukhari, APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said the step would go a long way in restoring the glory of the Punjabi language in the state.   (UNI)
