Pulwama, April 9: Another family member injured in a solar battery blast succumbs on Thursday in a Srinagar hospital. The toll has jumped to 2. Yesterday, a 25 year old youth, identified as Shabir Ahmad Mir died after a solar battery blast rocked the house of one Ghulam Nabi Mir son of Ghulam Rasool at Zantrag village in Khrew area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Two sisters Gulshan (18) and Shafeeqa (21) besides the cousin Faisal (8) of the deceased were injured and shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

Medical Superintendent SMHS, Dr Nazir Chowdary told KNT that Shafeeq Bano succumbed to her injuries today. (KNT)
