Poonch, Apr 20 : An elderly man was killed after families of two brothers entered into a scuffle over some land dispute.

Police sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that members of two families had a confrontation in early morning hours over a piece of grass land in Kenu village of Mandi in which a 60-year-old man identified as Mohammad Latif Khan, son of Faqro Khan of Kenu died on the spot.

“Police parties from nearby establishments rushed to the spot and have taken body into their possession for further formalities whereas investigation has been started,” sources said.

“The cause of death is not clear yet but there are reports that a gun was also used in scuffle but facts will come to the fore in autopsy,” they said—(Agencies)
