Kupwara, May 2: A soldier died on spot while two others received critical injuries after a grenade went off accidently inside at an army post.
Sources told KNT that army soldiers were busy in a drill at Jal Post of Keran Sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, when a grenade carried by a soldiers went off suddenly, killing the soldier on spot while leaving another two soldier injured.
A police official while confirming the incident identified the deceased soldier as Nayak Jogindar Singh. He said that two other soldiers are undergoing treatment at a military hospital. (KNT)
