Ganderbal, June 14: Police have booked a youth under Public Safety Act (PSA) on charges of stone-pelting in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

The youth identified as Javaid Ahmed Wani alias Musa was arrested on 17 May last month on charges of stone-pelting.

Police sources told news agency KNT that the youth who is the resident of Kachan Ganderbal was booked under Public Safety Act vide number 1/DMG/PSA/2020 and shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail.

When contacted a police official confirmed that youth has been booked under PSA. He said the said youth was an alleged chronic stone-pelter. (KNT
