SRINAGAR: Shutdown continued for the third day today in parts of the central Kashmir district of Budgam, where a youth was killed allegedly in security force firing on July 21 during demonstrations after Friday prayers.
Mobile internet service also remained suspended for the fourth day today to prevent spread of any rumours in the parts of Budgam.
Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the road in Beerwah and adjoining areas. Work in government offices, banks and educational institutions was also affected due to strike.  (UNI)
