BHADERWAH: The first batch of pilgrims to perform annual Hajj-e-Baitullah, Hajis from Bhadarwah and Bhalla left  for Srinagar on Friday .A batch of four Hajj pilgrims including two from Bhadarwah and two from Bhalla area which included a woman were accorded a ceremonial send off for Srinagar today morning at 7:00 AM. These pilgrims will take direct international flight from Srinagar Airport for Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage on 29 th of this month.Large number of people were present on the occasion to see off the vehicles carrying Hajj pilgrims for Srinagar, where from they will leave for Madina to perform Hajj-e-Baitullah.In the early morning large number of people gathered at historical Seri Bazaar Bhadarwah to see off ‘Hajis’ where they wished them a safe journey and smooth performance of Manasik-e-Hajj (Hajj rituals) and asked them to pray for peace , progress and prosperity for the state as well as country as a whole. While speaking on the occasion Imam Jamia Masjid Bhaderwah Zubair Alam congratulated the Hajis for pious journey and prayed for their safe and secure pilgrimage. Tehsildar Bhadarwah Masood Rangraz also extended his good wishes to the Hajis.Pilgrims from Doda ,Kishtwar , Bhalessa , Thatri , Marwah , Batote , Bahinal and Ramban also left for Saudi Arabia to perform the Haj pilgrimage.
