Bandipora, Sept 06 : A mentally unsound man’s body was recovered from Wular Lake near Laharwapora village of north kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday afternoon.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body of mentally unsound man identified as Sarwar Ahmad Ganai son of late Ghulam Ahmad Ganai (30), a resident of Qazipora was recovered from Wular Lake.

He said that the body was taken to district hospital Bandipora and after medical formalities the body will be handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.

The official said that police have registered a case in this regard and further investigations have also been taken up—(KNO)
