Srinagar, Sept 16 : Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) on Wednesday ordered all CMOs, BMOs and Medical Superintendents of Kashmir Division to ensure conduct of surgeries in all non-Covid hospitals in their jurisdiction with immediate effect while abiding SOPs drafted for keeping the pandemic away.
An order issued reads, “This is for the information of all Chief Medical Officers/Medical Superintendents and Block Medical Officers of Kashmir Division that they shall ensure conducting of surgeries in all the Non-Covid hospitals of Kashmir division under their jurisdiction with immediate effect. The work done in this regard shall be submitted as per the designed formats already circulated and available with them”.
“All the Standard Operating Procedures and protocols shall be adapted during the course of conducting surgeries or meeting emergencies of any nature in non-Covid hospitals”, it said and added any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously.
