Handwara, Sep 26, KNT: Joint forces that had launched a cordon and search operation in Mandgam Kralgund area of Hanwara here in North Kashmir claimed that they arrested a militant ‘sympathizer’ during the search operation.

An official told KNT that during the search operation a pistol and its five rounds was recovered from a ‘militant associate’.

The official identified that ‘militant associate’ as Akeel Ahmed Parray son of Wali Muhammad, a resident of Mandigam.

“He is being questioned and a formal case against him under Arms Act has been registered,” the official told KNT.
