Srinagar: 49Bn CRPF situated in the downtown area of Srinagar under the able guidance of Sh Alok Kumar Srivastava , PMG ,Commandant ,and Smt Madhulika Srivastava, has conducted an E- Workshop on COVID-19 related health and psychological issues on 15/10/2020. Dr Manu Bhatnagar w/o Mr R.R Bhatnagar Advisor to Lt Governor Jammu & Kashmir was chief guest on the occasion who motivated Jawanโ€™s families. She shared her COVID-19 experience with families. Nearby 100 Jawans families from different part of the country joined the E-Workshop ( some being from the remote parts of India). Through this workshop Dr Ashiq Rashid Mir ,MD, SMO for WHO Kashmir & Ladakh UT gave a presentation on COVID-19 current trends & vaccines; Dr Saiqa Zahoor, MD gave a presentation on COVID-19 and issues affecting pregnant women, Dr Junaid Nabi, Psychiatrist Consultant, , at GMC gave a presentation on psychological stressors related to COVID-19 & strategies to overcome them; Dr Asma Jan, Clinical Dietician; gave a presentation on diet related precaution needed during COVID & after COVID. Specialist doctors have addressed the doubt of the Jawansโ€™ families. For one month the families having health and psychological issue will be consulted by respective doctors to resolve their problems. On this occasion a pledge of appropriate behavior was taken by all to fight against Covid-19.
