SRINAGAR: Train services have been resumed after remaining suspended for two days for security reasons in the Kashmir valley, where four militants killed in separate encounters recently with security forces.
We have resumed all trains in the Kashmir valley today, a senior railway official said today.
Early morning trains running between Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region have left for their respective destinations.
Train left Banihal for Srinagar, he said adding similarly morning train from Srinagar also left for Banihal.
Similarly train service has been resumed on Srinagar-Badgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in north Kashmir, he said.  (UNI)
