Srinagar, Jan 16 : Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party today thanked the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary J&K for revoking the SRO 103.

Talking to reporters in a presser, senior Party leader Zafar Iqbal Manhas.said that are very thankful to the LG and his administration for fullfilling the demand of civil service aspirants.

He was flanked by other senior leaders of the party including Raja Manzoor.

He also said that requested the LG to solve the issue of Srinagar- Jammu highway once for all so that blackmarketters won’t have a field day and common people are not exploited.

We also raised the issue of skyrocketing of prices of essentials, food items during the closure of the highway, he said according to KNS correspondent.

Apni Party leader also said that they raised the Hokar encounter issue with him and demanded transparent and speedy enquiry.

According to KNS correspondent, he also sought relaxation of six months in provision of adhar cards mandatory for getting ration to people.

“Government is equally responsible for delay in issuance of adhar cards to the population,” he said.

He also said that Apni party raised the issue of delay in clearing of snow and stressed on a proper fund management system for dealing with these types of emergencies.

Moreover we also raised the issue of drainage, clearing of snow in interiors of Srinagar and other civic issue with Mayor and SMC Commissioner, he said

Forest Committee should not be formulated in hurry but should be apolitical in nature, he added .
