Jammu, Jan 21 : Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha today chaired a crucial Unified High Command meeting in Jammu to review the prevailing security scenario in the UT and to chalk out a summer strategy.

Reliable sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that LG Sinha chaired a meeting of UHC at Jammu where in all officers of police, army, CRPF, BSF and Intelligence were present. The sources privy to the agenda of the meeting revealed that the a powerpoint presentation has been made for the LG on various aspects of security situation in Kashmir, status of infiltration on LoC, operational preparedness of forces besides data pertaining to anti-militancy operations, law and order scenario.

This is the first UHC meeting held under the chairmanship of LG Sinha ever since he assumed the charge of LG of the UT. The meeting started at 2:30 pm and is scheduled to end at 4 pm—(KNO)
