Srinagar, Mar 22: Family of a 25-year -old youth from Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday issued a passionate appeal, asking anyone with whom their kin is to set him free.

The family has also lodged a missing report with concerned police station .

Reports said that a youth identified as Shahid Ahmad Rather (25) son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather, a resident of Luru Tral, went missing on Friday last and didn’t return. All efforts by the family to trace him proved futile.

A police official from police station Tral said that a missing report has been received from missing youth’s family. Efforts are on to locate him, the official said.

Shahid’s father also issued a video appeal in which he seen pleading with people to return his son. Also, seen in video are women who make appeal with folded hands to “people with whom he is to set him free.” (GNS)
