Srinagar, Apr 9: (GNS) Anjuman Auqaaf has refuted reports, carried by some sections of media, about suspension of Fajar (Dawn) and Isha (Night) prayers at the historic Jamia Masjid Nowhatta ahead of Ramdhan.

An Auqaaf member while talking to Global News Service (GNS) said that there has been no such decision made by the management as of now maintaining that the media reports in this regard are as such ‘baseless.’

However the member was quick to add that “If at all any decision is to be made, then still we will consider the opinion of health experts first.”

“We appeal the public to remain calm for any decision made will only be taken in the larger benefit of the society”, he added.
