Srinagar: A civilian injured in an explosion in Dalgate area of Srinagar last night succumbed today at SK Institute of Medical Sciences Soura.

The deceased, identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, was a resident of Hawal, Srinagar.

He was injured during an explosion yesterday near Budyari Chowk, Dalgate.

An official said that Mir was shifted to SMHS Hospital where from he was referred to SK Institute of Medical Sciences.

“He was referred to SKIMS Soura during wee hours for further treatment where he succumbed,” he said.
