Ramban, Apr 28: Taking action on the complaints received from public, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Ramban Tuesday seized two vehicles for overloading and overcharging of passenger vehicles here.
An official told Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS) that during the action, two vehicles plying on Karol Kumait and Kabbi routes were seized.
Meanwhile, authorities have impressed on the private transporters to strictly stick to fifty percent restrictions on authorised seating capacity, contrary to which action will be taken. (GNS)
