Srinagar: Reacting sharply over Border Security Force (BSF) personnel dancing to the tune of a Punjabi song during retreat ceremony at Attari-Wagah border in Punjab, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah asked why the men in uniform were putting on dance performances like a West End musical show.

“Can anyone tell me why we have our men in uniform putting on dance performances like a West End musical show? No better use for them,” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of main opposition in the state National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

The NC working president was reaction to a tweet which read, “The absurd retreat ceremony at Attari-Wagah now has naach gana by BSF men and women in uniform.”

The tweet also had a video, where BSF personnel could be seen dancing to the tune of a Punjabi song.
