Srinagar: Saying that the violence won’t yield any results, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday said that the dialogue process and peace is the only way to resolve to issue.

Mehbooba while reacting over the civilian killing in Chadoora said, “The common people has to think that thousands of people including the security forces, militants and civilians were killed since the militancy took place in the Valley. The violence can’t yield any result but the dialogue and peace in the state is imperative to resolve the issues,” Mehbooba said while speaking to media persons in Kokernag in Anantnag district during by-poll campaigning.

She said that during the unrest in the Valley, a team from New Delhi visited Valley to talk with the separatists. “I also wrote to the separatists and asked them to talk but unfortunately they didn’t respond at that time. Now I hope this time they will take advantage of the opportunity and will come in front to initiate dialogue process,” she added.
