Srinagar: Thousands of people this morning took part in the funeral prayers of slain Hizb militant Tauseef Ahmad Wagay at his ancestral Kanjkul village of Yaripora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Thousands of people on Wednesday took part in the funeral prayers of slain Hizb militant Tauseef Ahmad Wagay at his ancestral Kanjkul village of Yaripora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
prayers have so far been offered twice to accommodate thousands of people turning from various villages and towns in south Kashmir.
Wagay, who was active from past two years, was killed in a gunbattle with government forces in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district yesterday.
Three civilians were shot dead and over dozen injured in forces’ action on protesters near the site of the encounter in Durbugh village of Chadoora yesterday.
