Srinagar: The judicial remand of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was today extended by another 14 days by a local court here today.

A JKLF spokesperson here today said Malik, who remained lodged in central jail from last 12 days, was today produced before the Principal Sessions Judge.

He said the magistrate extended the judicial custody of Malik by another 14 days and sent him to Central Jail Srinagar. “Malik was immediately shifted to central jail after the court hearing,” he added.

Malik, who was arrested from Abi Guzar office of JKLF on March 18, was remanded to 12-day judicial remand and shifted to Central Jail, Srinagar till today.
