SRINAGAR, APRIL 03: The Secretary Tourism, Farooq Ahmad Shah,ย Monday, stressed on enhanced maintenance of all tourism spots to attract greater tourist arrival in the Valley. He said it at a meeting he chaired to review the preparations for the forthcoming tourist season in the Valley.

Director Tourism Kashmir, Director Floriculture Kashmir, CEOs of all Development Authorities, Secretary Golf Course, Director SKICC and officers of Tourism Department attended the meeting.

The Secretary asked the officers to check all kinds of concrete constructions at unauthorized locations and to launch sanitation drive at all the tourist places forthwith.

He also instructed the officials to take strict against the violators and ensure enforcement of the Tourist Trade Act.

It was given out in the meeting that onย April 13anย Aalmi Mushairaย will be held as part of the Bahar-e-Kashmir festival which started April 1 with the opening of the Tulip Garden here.
