Haiderbeig: Army Recruitment rally commenced at Haiderbeig, Pattan on 04 Apr 17 covering the districts of Anantnag, Kulgam, Srinagar, Bandipora, Shopian, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Baramulla and Ganderbal. A total of 18931 candidates likely to be screened for their physical fitness, medical examination and documentation from 04 to 12 Apr 17. Entrance Exam will be held on 28 May 2017 for successful candidates.
The huge turnout for recruitment reflects the level of motivation and patriotism amongst the youth of Kashmir Region. Brig JS Samyal, Deputy Director General Recruiting (Punjab and J&K), while briefing media persons at the Rally site informed that there would be more similar rallies to give greater opportunity to all aspirants of J&K state. The Rally is a step by the Army to ameliorate the condition of unemployed youth of the Kashmir region.
