BHADERWAH: In an endeavor to sensitize women beneficiaries about the benefits of the schemes being implemented by Jammu and Kashmir State Women’s Development Corporation, a Mega Awareness Camp-cum-Loan Mela was organized today at Attal ghar Bhadarwah
Around 100 women beneficiaries participated in the camp amongst whom loan application forms as well as pamphlets were distributed. The camp was inaugurated by BJP mandal pradhan mahila morcha Satya Devi Manhas .Speaking on the occasion, satya Devi appreciated the efforts of JKSWDC for conducting such a big camp in the area and asked the participants to come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes of WDC.
Rakesh Sharma field supervisor Women’s Development highlighted various activities and achievements of women’s Development Corporation which has immensely contributed towards the empowerment of the women. he laid thrust on the importance of Jute activity and its market availability and requested the gathering to come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes of WDC for their self reliance.In addition to the schemes, He also threw light on the issues related to the rights of women, health, nutrition, Female feticide, Beti Bachao Beti Padeao domestic violation and Swachh Bharat Abiyan and skill development etc.
