Budgam: For the promotion of adventure tourism, ‘Mudzilla Car Race’ was organized in Ompora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday. This two day event was organized by Kashmir Off-Roads in collaboration with Jammu Kashmir Tourism Department.
Hundreds of spectators were amused to see racing vehicles moving over the muddy uneven stretch at the venue.
Spokesperson Kashmir Off-Roads, Farah Zaidi told CNS that it is the first time that any motor sports event has been taking place in Kashmir Valley.
“Barring motor sports, there is everything in Kashmir. In order to attract tourists this event has been organized and it has been successful. Our main objective is to show good image of this beautiful Valley,” she said adding that scores of adventure sports lovers participated in this event.
